AUDIOBOOK CREATORS / AUDIO PROCESSING

Prepare AI narration for audiobook production.

A long-form voiceover needs consistent chapter sound and a destination-ready export. Send one rights-cleared MP3 or WAV passage for processing, then measure and audition the finished file before distribution.

First accepted beta recording free · MP3/WAV up to 50 MB · Private delivery · Results vary.

FROM SOURCE TO FINISHED FILE

A workflow for audiobook creators.

01 / SOURCE REVIEW

What to listen and look for

Raw TTS chapters can vary in loudness, pause spacing, tone and encoded format. A 24 kHz source cannot gain missing detail by upsampling. Readable ID3, LAME or Lavf strings describe parts of an audio container; they do not establish whether a voice is AI-generated.

02 / STUDIO PROCESSING

How the DSP workflow helps

The VoxErase six-stage DSP workflow can address timing and spectral texture; requested container review and a listening QA pass follow. We deliver one finished audio file through a private vault. We do not certify ACX compliance or remove provider watermarks.

03 / STUDIO RACK

Suggested starting settings

For an authorized audiobook project, choose “Audiobook & ACX Master” and request a 44.1 kHz, 192 kbps CBR MP3 target. Ask for controlled head and tail room tone and measure the final encoded export. Source quality can limit the result.

PRACTICAL CHECKLIST

Check the final file in its real destination.

Processing delivers one audio file for your own review. These points help you decide whether it is suitable for the project.

  • ACX currently specifies −23 to −18 dB RMS, peaks below −3 dB, a noise floor below −60 dB RMS, and 1–5 seconds of room tone at each end.
  • Its technical delivery format is 44.1 kHz MP3 at 192 kbps or higher constant bit rate, with one chapter or section per file.
  • ACX currently prohibits unauthorized text-to-speech or AI narration. Confirm that your particular title has authorization before preparing it for ACX or Audible.

Technical targets do not grant distribution permission. You are responsible for checking current publisher requirements, rights, and the finished file. Processing cannot guarantee approval.
